pt 2: HE brought me HERE

Hey family!

In August, I invited you to to take a journey with me through my stormy season. I asked you to trust me, trust the process. There is a purpose to my methods. I will spill the details in due time. I promise.

Today, I’m taking you on a flashback to last year when God showed me overwhelming favor and accelerated manifestation! These are the moments that I keep going back to, the moments that remind me that God is in complete and total control AND there is purpose to my current storm. It reminds me to be grateful, knowing that God would not bring me to a storm to leave me here alone. Mark 4:35-41

Here’s where the story begins:

May 2017: I graduated from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. [ Go Spartans! ]. The following week, I went to a week long Health Professions Readiness program. While I was there, God showed me immense favor with the Physical Therapy School admission staff, who assisted me in the next steps. That began with getting in my application by the end of May! Whoa, talk about quick, fast, and in a hurry!

June 2017: I took my GRE (passing with flying colors on my first and only attempt). I went in to interview on the last week of June! Talk about quick, fast and in a hurry!

July 2017: Just a few days later, I got the call saying that I had been accepted!! …talk about quick, fast and in a hurry.

November 2017: I felt God nudging me to share my testimony at the Young Adult Bible Study that I attend. (I was so nervous). I shared how God showed me the accelerated manifestation that our Young Adult pastor had been speaking over us. I declared that I knew God would provide financially in this new season.

December 2017: I received a scholarship that would cover a significant a portion of my tutition. I would later come to find out that it was largest scholarship amount that a Physical Therapy student at my university could receive. Wow, Talk about favor!

Bottom Line:

If you didn’t read the above story, read it! In 2017, my young adult pastor had been praying for and speaking “accelerated manifestation” of the things we had been praying for and believing God for. It sounded great, but in November when I shared my testimony at bible study, I realized that it was exactly what God was doing in my life. Trust me, I did not deserve it. God still chose to grant me overwhelming favor with my journey to Physical Therapy school on top of other aspects of my life that year. He granted me accelerated manifestation of my prayers, my plans and things beyond my imagination. So today, I leave you with that. The story that keeps me going. The story that reminds me that it WAS God that brought me HERE, to the place where I encountered my storm.

Your sister in Christ, Mo ❤️

  1. […] “Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted there by the devil. For forty days and forty nights he fasted and became very hungry. During that time the devil came and said to him, “If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become loaves of bread.” But Jesus told him, “No! The Scriptures say, ‘People do not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’ ” Then the devil took him to the holy city, Jerusalem, to the highest point of the Temple, and said, “If you are the Son of God, jump off! For the Scriptures say, ‘He will order his angels to protect you. And they will hold you up with their hands so you won’t even hurt your foot on a stone.’ ” Jesus responded, “The Scriptures also say, ‘You must not test the LORD your God.’ ” Next the devil took him to the peak of a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. “I will give it all to you,” he said, “if you will kneel down and worship me.” “Get out of here, Satan,” Jesus told him. “For the Scriptures say, ‘You must worship the LORD your God and serve only him.’ ” Then the devil went away, and angels came and took care of Jesus.” – ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭4:1-11‬ ‭NLT‬‬ […]
