inadequate and unqualified.

I’ll just speak for myself:

SOMETIMES I FEEL INADEQUATE. I mean, imposter syndrome be kicking in strong.

Sometimes, what I believe about my qualifications…or, the lack thereof, is crippling.

If you’ve been following me, you know that I believe in the importance and power of our words. What we say about ourselves and what we think about ourselves can be detrimental to achieving purpose. *clears throat* AND COMPARISON IS SUCH A THIEF!!

Through my walk with Christ and my time in Therapy, I’ve reinforced my practice of positive affirmations. More specifically, bible-based affirmations. They are really helpful to reprogram & renew your mind. The internal dialogue of “can’t; inadequate; unqualified” must be attacked at the root…daily. I’m such a supporting of using affirmations & scripture-based declarations DAILY to combat all that negative and unproductive self talk.

Below is a “collection” of words that God gave me in a moment of inadequacy.

Of course….there is BIBLE on all of that. I pray that you will read, understand, and meditate on the following scriptures.

Don’t let feelings of inadequacy, have the last word. God has already spoken concerning YOU!

John 1:1-3 | In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made.

Psalm 139:13-16 | For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them.

Esther 4:13-14 | …for if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place and you and your father’s house will perish. And who knows whether you have not attained royalty for such a time as this?

Romans 5:8 | But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Romans 8:29-31;37 | For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified. What then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?…No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.

Galatians 6:4-5 | Pay careful attention to your own work, for then you will get the satisfaction of a job well done, and you won’t need to compare yourself to anyone else. For we are each responsible for our own conduct.
